Qualitrol Celebrates Second Fortive Day of Caring #fortivecares
Qualitrol’s Rochester Facility Donates 1000 Hours to Serve Their Neighbors on October 11th, 2018.
Rochester, New York, October 11th – On October 11th, more than 130 Qualitrol employees will join forces to give back to their communities. Qualitrol has offered every employee a day to volunteer as a team, or with the community organization of their choice. The Rochester team joins over 200 events around the world, sponsored by the other operating companies (OpCos) and locations of their parent company, Fortive Corporation. In Rochester, Qualitrol employees will be working on 6 projects focused on improving the health and well-being of local children.
“With over 200 employees in the area, Qualitrol is committed to supporting the community by giving back our time and resources,” said Linda Rae, Qualitrol President. “We have a history of working actively to support children and families in our communities, and are pleased to extend that tradition to kick off our second Fortive Day of Caring.”
Throughout the day, Qualitrol employees will be contributing over 1000 hours, making meals, repairing bikes, as well as painting and landscaping with local charity organizations. Some of the organizations that will participate in the day include: R Community Bikes, The Ronald McDonald House, and Camp Good Days and Special Times.
